The BUGS After-School Program services sixty 2nd - 5th graders from Commodore John Rodgers Elementary School. We offer five hands-on components - Dance, Art, Cooking, Gardening, and STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) - focusing on improving the academic and social skills, and the attendance level of students. BUGS is offered by Living Classrooms Foundation, an educational non-profit that using experiential education, where kids get a to “Learn By Doing.”

On Friday, October 28th, the BUGS program traveled to Rogers Farm in Stevenson, MD. The students got a chance to visit some farm animals, pick pumpkins from a Pumpkin patch and venture through a corn maze!! What a great start to the Halloween weekend!!
